Press registration

Press
Any journalist or editor who is gainfully employed by a publication or news channel may apply for FIP congress press registration.

We welcome these colleagues to all sessions that are open to the public, including the Opening Ceremony and the Welcome Reception. Press registration gives you full access to our media room and media services.

To register as a member of the press please email press@fip.org with:

  1. Your full name;
  2. Your role/job title;
  3. The name of the publication or news agency that you work for and, where available, its website address; plus
  4. A pdf/screenshot/image of your name printed in your publication’s flannel panel or a link to your name listed under editorial staff on its website; or a letter from the editor of your publication/news agency confirming that you are in its full gainful employment.

Once your press credentials have been verified you will be sent a special link for press registration.

People who are not fully employed as journalists or editors (including people who hold voluntary posts) may apply for a “congress writer” registration, which offers congress registration at a reduced fee of 250 EUR. To apply for this type of registration, please email press@fip.org with:

  2. Your role;
  3. The name of the publication or news agency that you will be representing/writing for and, where available, its website address; plus

Congress writers are welcome to make use of the FIP congress press room.

Since FIP is a not-for-profit organisation, we could do with all possible help to promote our congress and our mission through your journals, websites, newsletters, etc. That’s why we ask you kindly to use one or more of our materials from here to let your readers know about this year’s congress.
