Introduction

This plenary session will provide an overview of the UHC landscape, emphasising patient-centred approaches and the role of robust patient-pharmacy partnerships. During the keynote address, speakers will highlight the importance of placing patients at the heart of UHC, citing global examples where patient partnerships have positively impacted healthcare outcomes. A panel discussion will feature experts from pharmacy, patient advocacy and healthcare policy to explore current patient engagement in pharmacy services, impact of partnerships on UHC reorientation, and successful case studies where pharmacists have collaborated effectively with patients.
