In recent years, the convergence of digital technology and health care has given rise to a revolutionary concept known as digital health.
Widespread digital transformation is evident in various aspects of our lives, from banking to entertainment, and is now making significant appearance in the field of health care. This is leading to a shift in paradigms of pharmacy practice, with a reimagining of models and services and an increased emphasis on maximising the capabilities of pharmacy team members. Pharmacists can harness technology to advance health promotion, prevent diseases and optimise medication, adapting to the changing landscape of pharmacies that provide both in-person and virtual care options tailored to the service type and patient preferences and needs.
