The Global Academic Leaders Forum (GALF) is FIP AIM’s annual meeting platform designed to strengthen institutional and professional development. GALF 2024 will focus on innovative recruitment strategies for students, faculty, and staff in pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences education schools. As academic capacity and expertise are critical in shaping future pharmacy professionals, this session aims to address the global trend of declining enrolment numbers, qualified staff recruitment and development needs and explore solutions. Following each presentation, roundtable discussions will be facilitated among participants. These discussions are designed to foster collaborative learning, allowing attendees to share experiences, reflect on best practices from their respective schools, countries, and regions and discuss challenges The aim is to generate actionable recommendations and insights that can be applied to enhance recruitment and retention strategies in pharmacy education that are in support of a sustainable academic capacity and pharmaceutical workforce.
