Introduction

The original Western Pacific Pharmaceutical Forum (WPPF) was established in 2002 to further the development of pharmacy practice in the Western Pacific Region of the World Health Organization (WHO). In partnership with forums in other WHO regions, WPPF was pleased to integrate earlier this year with FIP, and commits to FIP’s strategy and vision in the pursuit of mutual benefits.

Being an integral part of FIP will enable FIP-WPPF to broaden its engagement, visibility and influence across the region. At this 2024 Annual Meeting, the FIP-WPPF’s objectives, structure and priorities will be presented, and information will be provided on the formation of a new Executive Committee.

The opportunities for collaboration in the Western Pacific with UNITWIN and Sections of FIP will be discussed.

All congress delegates from the Western Pacific Region are cordially invited. It will provide a great opportunity for engagement by those interested in regional collaboration.
